The professional team at the Nevada Center for Reproductive Medicine is a highly experienced and talented group of kind, caring individuals. The staff of NCRM is committed to assisting patients to achieve their ultimate goal – the birth of a child.
 

Russell A. Foulk, M.D.
Dr. Foulk has a passion for helping couples to overcome infertility.  Despite being an internationally recognized expert on infertility, he takes great pride in developing personal relationships with each of his patients. He firmly believes that one of the greatest joys in life is helping a couple to find hope and eventually overcome the devastating disease of infertility.

Scott J. Whitten, M.D.
Dr. Whitten is a board certified subspecialist in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He focuses on helping infertile couples overcome their struggles to achieve pregnancy.  His expertise in both low and high-tech therapies results in maximum success for his patients.  His professional interests also include the treatment of other female reproductive disorders such as endometriosis and fibroids.

MEDICAL STAFF

Michelle Mays, NP
Michelle is a nurse practitioner who recently joined the NCRM family and is responsible for caring for our patients undergoing ovulation induction and inseminations. She performs ultrasound monitoring and assists in procedures. Michelle graduated with her bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Nevada-Reno, and later received her master's in nursing from the University of Cincinnati with specialization in women's health. She is a vital part our team and a welcomed addition to our NCRM family. She is a member of AWHONN.


LABORATORY STAFF 

Patty Julian, M.S., Embryologist, Laboratory Manager
Patty has been in the field of human embryology, specializing in all ART procedures for more than 20 years. Patty manages, monitors and performs all lab procedures, as well as maintains all records and compliance with certifying organizations such as JCAHO and CLIA. Patty is responsible for the annual reporting of our statistics to the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology. Patty is a member of ASRM.
Gnanaratnam Giritharan (Giri), PhD, Embryologist
Dr. Giritharan is experienced in both human and animal ART procedures. Giri graduated with a bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Peradeniya, Srilanka. He earned his MSc and PhD degrees, specializing in reproductive physiology, from the University of British Columbia, Canada. He received his postdoctoral research training in reproductive biology at the Center for Reproductive Sciences, University of California San Francisco. Giri is actively involved in cutting-edge reproductive and stem cell research, has given numerous conference presentations, and has published many research articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of ASRM and ISSCR. 


NURSING STAFF

Traci Rawson, RN, BSN
Traci is one of the patient coordinators for our AOD program and has been a key team member since 2001. In addition to her 10+ years of fertility experience, she also has working in the field of labor and delivery, high risk ante partum and maternal fetal medicine. She provides many services in our office--performing and evaluating ultrasounds and laboratory procedures, teaching patients, coordinating and evaluating schedules, and assisting with both IVF and non-ART procedures.

Aida Lizarraga, Surgery Scheduler and Medical Assistant
Aida has been in the field of reproductive medicine for over ten years. She assists with patient care by teaching as well as translating for our Spanish speaking patients. She is responsible for maintaining a smooth surgery schedule and keeps in close contact with hospitals and surgical centers.

Veronica Crawford, Medical Assistant, Embryo Donation Coordinator
Veronica is a certified medical assistant and phlebotomy technician. Veronica coordinates all of our embryo donation cycles. She also assists our physicians, nurses, and patients with many tasks to achieve optimal patient care. She is an integral and cheerful addition the staff here at NCRM.

Paula Miller, RN, IVF and FET Coordinator 
Paula is a patient coordinator for our IVF and FET programs.  She assists with patient teaching, schedule coordination, injections and phlebotomy.  Paula graduated with her BSN from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California.  She came to NCRM in 2010 from the Bay Area, where she worked as an IVF nurse case manager.


FRONT OFFICE STAFF

Wendi Wilson, Administrative Assistant
Wendi focuses on patient service. Her outstanding attention to detail has made her a vital component to the NCRM team. Wendi handles all aspects of billing, and works closely with patients and staff. Wendi has been with us since 1999. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Kitty McDivitt, Receptionist
Kitty works to help keep the front office running smoothly. Kitty is responsible for scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits, entering charges in the computer, and keeping the front office running smoothly. Kitty has been with NCRM since 2003.
Marsha Espindola, Front Desk
Marsha assists with appointment scheduling, patient check-out, financial services, patient inquiries, and helps to keep the front office of NCRM running smoothly. Marsha joined the clinic in 2010, bringing with her over 15 years of medical office expertise.

ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

Anita Emmrich, Administrator, Office Manager, Financial Counselor
Anita has been in the medical field for over 25 years, more than 15 have been in the field of reproductive medicine. Her responsibilities include credentialing, human resources, insurance/billing, and all aspects of managing our office. She also does financial counseling in order to help patients determine their financial options. Anita is a member of the Medical Group Management Association.


Timothy Garcia-Jay, MHA, Executive Director
Tim is the Executive Director of the Nevada Center for Reproductive Medicine, the Idaho Center for Reproductive Medicine, and the Utah Fertility Center. Tim joined the three practices in 2010 and brings over 13 years of heathcare administrative experience to the organization. He brings a strong background in finance, business development, operational improvement, and customer service to the three centers. Tim received his bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and a master's degree from the University of Washington with a concentration on healthcare administration. He is an active member of the Medical Group Management Association, the American College of Heathcare Executives, and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
